you should put up a section on books & review them the same way you have done with the different poker sites. that was good

Nah, I don't really like the helmuth books all that much. Best book I've read so far is Dan Harrington's - both volumes.

Best fold ive done was in a live game. Guy raised 2x the blind, i look at KQs on bb so i call, flop Q32 rainbow. The guy bets the min, i reraise 3x his bet, he reraises me single. I fold. He shows AA.

Yeah I play. Been on loads of sites. Ones ive made the most on were UKbetting, PacificPoker (888.com), and Ladbrokes.

Zilla the site is cool mate, have you got some deal going with Titan and Noble poker to make people deposit?

I play poker mainly on Ladbrokes but have played on full tilt. The site I hate most is Pacific becos it is full of americans that cant play. Best I have done on poker is on UkBetting, went on a table with £7, was blinded down to £2 but was able to get it up to £50 :D. Have also change 8$ into 60$. Still prefer tourneys to cash though :D

yeah he was the only other person at the table who was up & didnt seem enough of a donkey to check raise then get reraised & reraise again with the K high flush with 4 hearts on board.

without the board being paired it was the only hand i could think of that he had

thought he must of had 78hearts Q8hearts or QK of hearts :doh

whats everyone play? Fixed Limit or No Limit?

i've changed back to playing fixed limit cash games for a while & doing better at that
but still sometimes play no limit cash games at the same time

was playing 1 fixed limit cash game, 1 no limit tournament & 1 no limit cash game at the same time earlier :D

had a few good results at the casino in the last few weeks. won 1 Multi table & came 2nd in a couple more :dance

Yeh shortly after he won the grovesner masters thing for like £100,000 or something sick it was the £5 sunday rebuy, i was around 2nd in chips with 6 people left and raise it up with KK he re-raises only person who has me covered. I push all in and he calls with AK first card was a ace and i was going home. Winner took over £600 that day as well what a shit >:

Just made a read hades style lol

Had $140ish on a 50c/$1 table. I call from mid position with J9s hearts. Theres about 4 others in the pot. Guy in first position bets $5 on a flop of 9d9c5d I call and so does 1 other. Turn 6s. Initial guy bets 15, i call so does other guy. River 5h. Guy bets 15, I raise to 30, guy behind me goes all in for $70 and the first guy calls. I thought to myself, they cant both have a 9 so I put the guy behind me on quad 5s and for that reason I fold, leaving me $50 down from the hand but still with a good chunk left.

Initial better had A9s clubs, and the guy behind me, yep , quad 5s

at best you would have probably been calling for a split pot when someone else called his bet.
depends on how bad you thought they were i suppose. they would have to be shit to call there with a 5 for the lower full house with someone behind them still to act

Playing 0.75/1.50 blinds. I have QJoff on DChip. I raise to $3, both sb and bb call.

Flop Qc6s8c. He bets 7.50, i raise to 15, he calls.
Turn Qs. He bets 15 i raise to 40 he reraises to 81, i go all in 102
River 3d

He shows KQ suited hearts. Ouch.

Came out 10th in the Pot limit £500 tourny, luckily we made a deal to pay 10-12 £500 each by knockin some of 1st and 2nd. Just got really harsh cards on the final day.

First hand i made a good play and doubled up, the bigblind was dead as he was in the shitter. His mate a swedish guy and the short stack raised the pot, i was on the button with QKoff and figured he was after th 6k in blinds so re-raised him all in and he had J,10 my hand held up and it was a nice start. That got me to about average chips.

Not much in the next cuple of rounds, then i pick up AdQd and raise the pot (blinds were 3k/6k at the time) so was 21k total and about 30-40% of my stack from UTG (we was playing 6 handed). The BB who was a bit of a maniac re-raised to put me all in, now he had already re-raised with weaker aces plenty of times while we had been there but i just thought he was really strong this time. I folded and showed it and he flipped over Pocket aces, which at least made me feel a little better lol.
I stole the blinds a few times but the donkey chip leader was two too my right and he always picked up at least a ace on the button to raise me, he had QQ once as well. Eventually with not long to the blinds raised to 4-8, i had around 30k left after posting my sb, its folded to me so i raise pot with pocket 2s and the BB puts me in for my last 10k or something, which i aint folding for with a pair or any two cards to be honest after puttin 25k in the pot, i call he has A,9 off. Flop offers no help but the turn brings a A and the river brings a 9 and that was me done :(

Still i was pretty suprised about the standard of play, most of the players would really overplay hands like AJ and AQ and pockets as well. In the whole tournie i picked up KK once which i dubled up with, QQ once which took a decent'ish pot and AK once which took the blinds. For over 10hours play thats pretty shite cards and im happy with how i done. Although i had JJ a couple of times i laid them down preflop both times and both times people ended up all in with QQ vs 99 and then KK vs 99.
