For those of you non-GODS that don't know, I am part of the staff over at the Poker Professor website (http://www.pokerprofessor.co.uk), and in conjunction with them I am inviting you all to take part in their $500 Private Poker Tournament. The prize fund is a minimum of $500 and the entry fee is only $5.
Tournament Details
Date: Sunday 20th August
Time: 3pm UK Time
Prize Fund: $500 + all entry fees
Tournament Type: No Limit Hold'em
Entry cost: $5
Please guys I hope you can support this event, its taken alot of planning and negotiation to get the private tournament set up and we need to get a minimum of 15 people there, hopefully we'll get alot more than that. Even the guys that don't really play poker - it will be great event and hopefully most of the GODS and lots of other Socom friends will be playing in it so will be a great laugh.
If you can't afford the entry fee then take a look at the section below on referring friends, and if you still have a problem then PM me and well come up with something, but the main objective is to get as many people into the tournament as possible.
Please spread the word to everyone and anybody - on Socom, on MSN, your workmates, friends, family - get them involved and help me fill this tournament up (plus see below and earn some cash!)

The reason we are holding this event and putting such a huge prize pool together for it is to raise awareness of the Poker Professor website. The tournament is open to everyone and we want you to invite all your friends, family, workmates, next door neighbours and the guy you know down the street who looks at you funny.
We want as many people as possible to play in our first community event. So to market the event we are offering you cash for anybody you refer to play in the tournament.
1 Referals - We give you $5
2 Referals - We give you $15
3 Referals - We give you $25
4 Referals - We give you $35
5 Referals - We give you $50
5+ Referals - We give you $10 per referal.
So bring 20 of your friends and family with you and you'll get $200 and so on.
We decided to do it this way instead of spending the money to advertise the tournament - again its a form of advertising and instead of giving the money away on Advertising we thought we would rather boost our community members bankrolls instead.
I hope you will help us to bring as many new members to the Poker Professor community and make for a really fun event. If this one goes well then this could be a regular thing.
