Thanks ppl - I very nearly didn't play in this tournament - I had sufferred a really bad beat earlier in the day in a $40k Pokerstars tournament when I was playing really well and was confident I would make the money and got knocked out about 10 places out of the money when some guy hit one of his 2 outs to beat me :banghead

After that I had turned the PC off and didn't want to go anywhere near poker - glad I got bored later in the evening and played in this tournament now!:D

errm - nope - this was just a regular tournament, they'll do the entry to the live tournaments via special qualifier tournaments for it I would think.

Vwp Zilla, wish I could play that good. The most I have won is about £20 on titan poker on a 10 man table but I have won one of the little sit and go tourny's. Thought I'd have a blast with a $2 entry fee, lol, and won 12.50 or something. Might get back into it soon and try and play a bit better.

you have any kind of rakeback with singing up through the pokerprofessor site or you sticking to the deposit bonus sign ups?
odin uses some site where you get a % or your rake genereated paid back to you

And Hades, ive played some pot limit before but its kind of a low restriction no limit, you can still be all in on the flop if you play it right. As for fixxed limit that just sucks.

The software I used is called Camtasia I think - very good peice of software.

Hades - no there is no rakeback @ Poker Professor - although a seperate site is planned for the future for rakeback.

short handed fixed limit is probably the most steady way i've found in making money playing poker online.
i do alright in no limit 10 handed cash games when i play them but getting outdrawn in fixed limit on 1 hand wont bust you :banghead & most the players are so shit its worth the time.
