Hey, just came to let you know about a new community called Qlans, the teaser site of which goes live TODAY!
Qlans was set up and run by Bowromir (yeah that crazy Dutch guy :p) who has put his heart and soul into this, after the success of Qlans.nl Bowromir has decided to design a UK version of the site, which will be headed and run by EJ Fly, The RealDeadaim, Emlin and SlayerX. Future games like Killzone, Socom 3 and even possibly seasons for games like Fifa 2005 will have leagues and tournaments supported. Potentially Qlans could host LAN events and provide live game coverage of clan matches! On the site we have two very experienced and competent review and community writers, Acelister and FantasyMeister who I’m sure you all know will be compiling reviews and info on the latest news and online titles to hit the shops!
The first tournament on the site will be Burnout 3 consisting of over 60 drivers, in 30 heats racing for that number 1 prize position, with cash prizes being a real possibility.
Qlans has already been set up in Netherlands and is proving to be very successful. The Dutch version of the UK’s OPSM2 has dedicated a 2-page column each month to Qlans giving major coverage to the site and we are hoping a similar thing here in the UK.

As our first none game based competition for the site we’re giving away a personalized site skin to the clan who can recruit the most UK based Playstation gamers onto the website. Every time you get a signup a point will be added to your total and at the end of the signup period the clan with the most introduced members will have a Skin for the site designed especially for them!!
A quick note, we are having a few difficulties with the hosting contract, so the site will temporarily be at www.qlans.com until the problem is sorted.
