thats right microsoft are gonna cancel MSN Due to worries over
internet chat room dangers...
i.e peadophiles
MSN is a un restricted chat room and after
pressure from CHILDNET have agreed to cancel MSM all together...
im assuming Hotmail will still be working.

No its just MSN Chat that is closing, MSN messenger and all its other services are carrying on as normal.

yea this is a weird issue. I'm not sure that this is going to solve the problem children and pedos on the net. closing down the chat rooms is just like closing down a park, the kids are going to play elsewhere.

the emphasis should have been on parents checking to see that their children used the computer in a reponsible way. and if closing down MSN chat and thinking that their kids are safe on the net now and it's another thing they dont have to worry about then they have a serious problem.
