Control style... Use of "strafing".

I have just been reminded of something. I read in an interview with zipper that they had made significant changes to ensure that people can no longer indulge in excessive "Strafing" firefights. They apparently did this, in order to make firefights a little more realistic.

Is there an evidence of this in the beta?

yes, obviously you still strafe side to side, but its not as quick anymore and there is an element of momentum in the way the character moves.

Its not a huge huge difference, but you certainly notice it when you go back onto socom 2 and go back to the contest of who can strafe left to right quickest and spray at the same time :P
